It was on April 14, Sunday morning at 5 am, that two accused, Vicky Gupta and Sagar Pal, allegedly from the Lawrence Bishnoi gang, fired five rounds of bullets at Salman Khan’s Bandra residence, Galaxy Apartment. The incident left his fans and admirers worried. Many of his industry friends and acquaintances came out in his support. As the investigation in the matter is underway, after the accused were arrested from Gujarat, the Esplanade Court on Thursday, sent them to a 4-day Crime Branch custody.

As reported by the Free Press Journal, Pal and Gupta have been sent to a 4-day Crime Branch custody by the Mumbai court. According to the reports, more details about the accused have resurfaced during the investigation. They had changed clothes and footwear, during the run, as they were trying to mislead the police. The accused were carrying 2 pistols and over 40 bullets with them during the firing at Salman Khan’s residence, a few weeks ago. While they fired 5 bullets, 17 bullets have been recovered so far. The report adds that the police officials have been looking for the remaining bullets that the accused carried with them. Hailing from Bihar, the government lawyer informed the court that they needed more time to know who was financing the accused. According to the Free Press Journal, the investigation office asked for their custody so that the call recordings and call details of the accused could be accessed and further verified. They informed the court that their custody should be extended. The court agreed to the demands and sent the accused to 4-day custody to the Crime Branch. On the work front, Salman Khan will be next seen in AR Murugadoss’ upcoming action flick. He also has Vishu Vardhan and Karan Johar’s The Bull in the pipeline. If reports are to be believed he will be collaborating with Shah Rukh Khan, for YRF’s spy thriller Pathaan vs Tiger.
